I?ve been led to believe that in the very early 80?s Lindsay Honey produced and starred in a sex/horror movie entitled DEATH SHOCK. The movie was shot on video and released on video cassette back in the days of the pre-certificate video! - Has anyone information on this title, or even seen it??? Maybe even Ben himself can help!!!

Death Shock, 1982, soft core according to David Flint, Babylon Blue, p. 99. Seems unclear from page 115 of that book (the Ben Dover interview) whether it was directed mainly by Bill Wright (Frank Thring) or Lyndsey Honey (Ben Dover).

Gentlemen,
Just had an e-mail through from FRANK THRING in Hollywood, clarifying the production of DEATH SHOCK,
I'll forward the contents as below:-
"DEATH SHOCK was the first adult feature I ever made. Not only did I direct it and have several slides of me doing so,but I wrote the damn thing, acted in it as a Satanist parson AND financed it completely with my own money!!
It is maybe not entirely Honey's fault but because he worked with me as PA on the thing and helped sell it,some books on the industry, such as 'Doing Rude Things'credit him as Director...in every case I have written to the authors and corected them...most refer to the movie as terrible but at least a movie,i.e.it tells a story....what most don't realise is that we shot it in 2 days on a budget of either ?8,000 or ?10,000 total.
p.s.my owncopy is on Betamax."
