Find me a Face on BBC Three

Just watching this on BBC Three and yawn, here we go again!
It's a show about the modelling industry and scouting for models, and surprise surprise, we're getting the same old story as always.
Instead of taking this opportunity to find girls who don't fit the same old stereotype, the message which comes through once again is that models HAVE to be tall, unbelievably slim and have that slightly 'pinched-face' look.
"I've been searching all day in this busy street/shopping centre and all I've found is one girl, and she's a model already", says one of the expert types pervading this show. Yes, that's because you're so blinkered, you're only looking for one type of girl, and we're all bored with those...

BBC3 is wafer thin, trash TV.Even that talentless chav 'singer' Lilly Allen has her own show.

Rooney's missus has her own show as well on that other trash station ITV2,home of trashettes like Jordan and people of her ilk.

Is this what we pay our licence fee for?

"Is this what we pay our licence fee for?"

Sadly yes.

Meanwhile, areas such as natural history, politics and other areas of the BBC are facing massive job cuts, budget cuts and any other kind of cut you'd care to mention.

However, its all about capturing the 'yoof' market. Even though most of them are now out stabbing people instead.

Ho hum.

In BBc three's defence Ideal is rather(or indeed quite) good. Two pints/Grownups is rather shite, Lilly Allen is a different matter, while apearing to be intelligent and the voice of youth ect... she seems rather numb and vague, the sort that a crossbow could be pointed in one ear, and fired withought any brain damage ocurring....

Why is it that Find Me a Face is the one programme of the week which annoys me so much I have to write about it??

Latest episode tonight: all about "plus-size" models. Except that the definition of plus-size is only size 14-16, and all the girls in this edition didn't look plus-anything, they just looked normal. Yet, once again, they're being told they're BIG.

Pah! And we wonder why eating disorders are increasing...

Rant over.
