I hadn't read that- it was an 'Arch Bipolar' post after all.

very true colonel. The man's a legend.I hope he gets all the help he needs and gets a coaching job of some capacity in football once he gets better.
Biggest Gazza moment was his screamer against Scotland in Euro 96.His freekick for Spurs against Arsenal at the 91 FA cup semi at Wembley was'nt bad either.
Get well soon Gazza !thumbsup!

A lovely fella and I really wish he gets well soon. Moving to the bright lights of London and having Terry Venables (and I love Tel) give him a free rein to clubs etc started the rot. I think if he'd gone to Man Utd and Fergie, his career would have lasted another 10 years.
Immense talent

Wish him well.He needs a job in football .When I've heard him on Radio 5 (sober) he comes across as a decent bloke.

Mate and I met Gazza at a golf comp in Northumberland years ago. He was playing about 3 groups behind us.
He was approachable, witty, signed autographs, posed for photos and was a genuinely decent bloke. Signed some scorecards for my mates kids.
My ex boss and his wife also met him in a hotel in London and same thing, approachable, easy going.
Pity a man with so much talent has lost it.
Yes he is a celeb but as someone who has worked with the mentally ill for years he does deserve our sympathy.
