I have Opera and initially I found it to be first class. Better than Firefox but after a week or so it started to slow to a crawl and wouldn't load pages properly whether I cleared the private data or not.
So it was back to Firefox which is pretty good.

alice apparently its something to do with aol migrating their customers to their new server since they joined up with carphone warehouse so they told me
if you do a speed test now it says isp is opal telecom instead of aol like it used to be

I use Opera both on my desktop pc, running XP, and on my Powerbook.
Faster than Firefox and IE, but I do find that Firefox has slightly better usability.

Browsers like media players
Some work with certain sites/clips and others refuse
Opera is meant to be one of the fastest but I found the difference minimal at best
Just like firefox has a lot of tweaking for extra speed that can be done if you delve deeply enough so does opera I suspect
Still think for all the alternatives and their improvements IE is still the easiest to use simply because it has the cleanest interface
