Oscar winner has died at age of 86. Had been suffering from leukaemia
A man for all seasons is one of my favourite films.

A great actor who will be sadly missed. He also turned down a knighthood

RIP

One of the best actors. He always shunned the limelight.

R.I.P. Mr. Scofield.

Just watch The Crucible or Quiz Show to see just how good an actor he was; stealing scenes from much younger and fashionable actors.

He didn't do that many films, Tequila---more of a theatre actor, and not as well known as Olivier or Gielguid, for example. But when he did appear on film, he was a class act.

Oh, and if Philip Schofield was found dead, do you reckon Gordon the Gopher would have a hand in it?

Not to worry Tequila, Tarquin will post a summary from his favourite resource - Wikipedia.

It's OK Steve I only jest. It is Michell and yes he's a good actor too
Although his finest hour was probably with captain beaky and his band
Did Keith also play the drums on that hit I wonder?
