I've recently become a fan of the 1700s architect Nicholas Hawksmoor....ok, perhaps not your usual BGAFD hobby, but this is not your usual architect.

For starters, here is his St.George's Bloomsbury. Not your average church either.

I personaly believe St Anne's Limehouse to be the finest of "the six churches"

Have you visited the six? I have always wanted to but never had the time.

Could you list the " six churches" please?.
All i know of Hawksmoor is that he designed the two West towers for Westminster Abbey and was architect to Beverley Minster.

We certainty get some strange subjects on this forum, which is great to see.
