I see over 450 BBC staff are booked to travel to China for the forthcoming Olympics.Thats more than will be making up the British team.I know the athletics, gymnastics, swimming and boxing will be popular but what a fucking gravy train....!BTW they also bid ?250m for the F1 gig..no wonder Ecclestone goes round with such a smug look on his ugly face!

Expect a total blanket coverage of the Olympics by the BBC. Just hope that GB wins a few medals otherwise it'll be dire.

The good news is that all their personal details have been stolen, so Gabby Logan might find she's bought a few things she didn't think she needed.

But will the Olympics be a success-in terms of viewing figures?.Correct me if i'm wrong but Beijing is 8/9 hours ahead of us so the main events will be taking place while we're at work,so the only one's that will be watching are the workshy or one's that are on days off.

The 2002 World Cup was a task in it's own right, but was great to see boozers opening and selling booze at 6am.Can't see it happening this time.

It doesn't bother me Mike as I'll not be watching one minute of it. I did this the last time the Olympics were held, and the time before that too!

Even though the live events will be broadcast when most will be at work, the Beeb will no doubt show plenty of repeats throughout their evening schedules.

Trumpton I am not sure you have actually got a telly ... go on admit it, you know if you want to get the "full" BBC saturation coverage you will need to go "Interactive" ... so get your pennies out - you tight jock!!!whistle!

Cant see anything like as much interest as say the World Cup..most of the sports are very minority and no doubt GB will stumble in behind the likes of South Korea and Italy like last time.
