I think they look great. When many of today?s girls seem to lazy, stupid, or downright blokeish to do their hair, put on some lippy and a dress, this is like a breath of fresh air - nay, a veritable whirlwind! Liverpudlians get a lot of stick, and not all of it undeserved. But these girls do deserve some credit. It?s clear that they?ve all made a great effort (just like real girls in the olden days) and they all look fab (to varying degrees). I wholeheartedly approve.
This is a contemporary cultural phenomena (girls dressing glamorously 'WAGish' of a night out) particular to the Merseyside area. Is been mentioned in the broadsheets on more than one occasion. It?s impetuous seems to have been ?Alex? and ?Colleen? and the whole footballer?s wives scene in Wilmslow and the Northwest. We may sneer and deride them as being chavy and not having any real class - but hold on. Look at the grim alternative ? pasty faced, denim wearing, ?man-birds? with lank, styleless haircuts and rat eaten fringes. I think the scousers deserve a big thumbs up.
There is one fly in the ointment though. In years gone by girls would have dressed up sexily and glamorously to attract the attention of males or for a situation where there was going to be some kind of male/female interaction. But that?s not really the case anymore. These jolly scoucer birds will have dressed up for themselves, for each other (though not in a sexual sense) just as in the rest of the UK the girls dress up in the same dreary, ubiquitous, dirty denim, chav-bird style to fit in with their peer group.

Please, can someone kindly explain to me exactly how/why Colee M has achieved celeb status?
As far as I can see she is only famous for being engaged to spud face Rooney & making a big show of splashing his cash.
