too often it seems. Not many people who have appeared so regularly
before the courts would have been given so many chances. Especially a
person who had already done time for burglary

Driving under the influence should be an automatic lifetime ban for anyone, to me, but using and violating rules governed to keep you on the straight and narrow hardly seem to warrant a custodial sentence, even if he is a repeat offender.

The drug's policy in this country is a joke: an abject failure that's more concerned about keeping in step with middle England voters than tackling an issue that's destroying thousands of people and fuelling widespread, violent criminality. Still, at least we've got 24-hour opening times. You couldn't write it.

Complete waste of space, and a talent vacuum to boot.
