Since no one else was saying it. This competition certainly brings out the best in them. And well done to Arsenal, too, for producing a cracking match.

All of the games between these two have been entertaining and played in a fair manner, yes arsenal play a good passing game with lots of movement and skill but i think they are starting to run out of steam at the business end of the season and as benitez said at the end you need to win these games by scoring more goals than the opposition.

Arsenal looked tired and missed an easy sitter.
Adabayor's touch was fucking awful tonight.
Two games with two penalties. Liverpool were awarded their's, Arsenal weren't.

Yeah, the Gooners have certainly gone off the rails the last month or so.

Thank you hj4u.I was at Stamford Bridge last night.I take it i missed a cracker of a game at Anfield.Like i'm bothered !laugh!.
Unlucky Arsenal,i would of prefered Arsenal in the semi tbh,but it's a 3rd semi final against Liverpool, this time the first leg is at Anfield, which gives me belief that Chelsea will make it 3rd time lucky this time. We're not playing well, but still getting results. The best is yet to come from us.hj4u wrote:

Well done to both Chelsea and Liverpool.
It will mean we get at least one team in the final.
Will be interesting what the travel arrangments will be if we get both teams through.
There is certainty no love lost between any combination of the three

I read somewhere that UEFA are considering moving the final to Wembley if both finalists are English (presumably paying the Russians some form of compensation) - which would make a lot more practical sense.
I still fancy Barcelona to overcome ManUre in the other semi though, and to go on and win it. Would be happy to be proved wrong though, as I'll back any (nominally) English team in Europe.
