Sad death of the TV Presenter who had been distraught after the inquest into the death of his girlfriend.
He'd been missing most of last week and there were concerns into the state of his mind.
RIP

That's out of line.

He wasn't a junkie. How you can pontificate about 'debauched lifestyles' beats me. He had sex and used drugs with his girlfriend in the privacy of their home, like thousands of other people, every weekend.

It went wrong. They overdid it. They were stupid. She died. He was clearly crucified by what happened. The end result is two dead people. Pretty heavy price to pay for a spot of hedonism.

Ace,
The moral of this story is if you ever get money do not snort it up your nose because like many I have known you will find houses and cars going up there and if you try to ignore the blood coming out of your nose the "devil's dandruff" will burn a hole right through your septum and when you look in the fridge it will be empty!
Mike Freeman, just an old pothead.

>One less junkie

Many many great people in history have had weaknesses.

They liked to drink (Churchill), or take drugs (too many to list), or young boys (Oscar Wilde)

Some had too much sex (Michael Todd the police constable who killed himself recently), others had no sex (Isaac Newton died a virgin).

While I find it very sad and wasteful what he and his girlfriend did you cannot judge a person on that one thing.

We all have secrets in our lives that we would not want banded about.

Tragic. The way the police deal with incidents like this is often leaden-footed and adds to the guilt and problems for those left behind. A situation like this would be hard enough to deal with in normal circumstances, but under the full glare of the media can only make it more so, but the fact that as a long-standing kids tv presenter he can only have felt more guilt as letting Auntie Beeb down as well as his audience.
There are lessons to be learned here, but they won't be heeded.

Funny looking chap though, wasn't he

Hey

FFS I can only assume that you posted this to get a reation AIB

Comments like this show mind blowing ignorance!! Not to mention unbelievable amount of insensitivity!! In short this is the sort of comment that would be passed by an out and out cunt!!

To class the man as "a junkie" when as far as you know this was the one and only time he was involved with drugs (highly un-likely I know) is a little rash don't you agree?

Plus the term "junkie" indicates a person who steals and robs to feed thier habit. This is a chap who was not only working but had a very successful career. So he almost certainly earned the money he used to buy the drugs. So no skin off your nose there then. Unless your just happy some one more Successful than you has died.

Take a look around and think about this. Almost every one you know, including your kids (God forbid) between the ages of 16 and 30 are or have been at some time recreational drug users of varying degrees. A sad fact...but trust me it IS a fact.

Please do not get me wrong,I hate drugs as stated in previous posts (especially my own personal addictions) but I have spent enough time in certain circles and situations to know the facts and I am enough of a human being not to gloat over innocent (how ever stupid) peoples tragedies!!

Sorry to get upperty, but please have a think about the above.
