I recall in 1989, some workers found a cine film in the LA sewer system of Marilyn getting it doggy style, it was wrapped in newspapers of the era and secured accordingly.
People were quite excited about this sensational find, and after a few frames were released to some magazines, it was found to be a fake, as the film used was dated late 1960's when it was shot, and Monroe was dead in 1962
But at the time, this 'scoop' was headline news in America........a bit like those Hitler Diaries found in 1983 that fooled the experts in England.
