Forum speeds.

Is it just me or is the forum slow tonight?

All other websites are fine and my download speed is as it should be.

On Firefox.

Seems ok one minute and then the next.....treacle (as you say).

BBC, youtube etc etc are fine though. Just bgafd is slow. Thought they may be doing something under the hood.

Try IE7 its super quick

More than likely either an overload at bgafds end or your ISPs
bgafd has always had them from time to time no matter what browser your on

firefox has had issues with intermittent slow speeds for along time

The lucky thing for me is that i have nothing of value on my PC
ie no banking details,no personal information so using IE if firefox finds a site it doesn't like (vice versa)or Opera goes into crawl mode isn't an issue for me

Not too bad today. Mind you yesterday and the day before were slow.

It's not usually too bad speed wise on this forum. The slowest in my experience is Freeones. That can be very slow indeed. I think it's due to the fact that you have these saddo Yanks who suffer from an image problem that they feel the desire to place semi-naked pictures of themselves which they use as their signature.

Yeah, it's better today. I checked this site with Safari, yesterday, and that too was slow on here but ok elsewhere, which rules out ISP and Browser issues.
