I have always found Goths to be really pleasant young people..why should these animals escape the hangmans noose..when I see stories like this I am convinced capital punishment is correct and sends a message that such behaviour merits the ultimate sacrifice.I would be delighted to put the noose round these cunts pathetic necks...

All though the best I can wish for these two is an early death,I have become convinced over recent years that Capital punishment is not every thing one might hope for. Please don't get me wrong. I too have uttered the magic words "Hang the fuckers" on a fairly regular basis.

But I am afraid there is a single word argument against capital punishment. Are you ready for it? OK here it is (drum roll please) America!! I am too tired (and if I am honest,drunk) to post the statistics of prisioners currently on death row or that have been executed in the past ten years. But trust me it's no bill board ad for state execution as a deterent. 31 of the American states still have the death penalty and yet the murder rate is still through the fecking roof.

I know there are other factors to take into account. Such as the increased population and comparatively easy access to fire arms. But the truth is that the death penalty is acting as nothing more than a revenge tactic....not a deterant!!

One other slightly interestig thing is,even though New York has still got a death penalty,it has not executed some one since 1963. The murder rate has dropped consistently for about the past 15 years. Where as Florida that will still fry you if the mood takes it,is pretty much the murder capital of the U.S....go figure

If you grow up under a government that kills it's own citizens -even as punishment- then it cheapens life. If you grow up thinking life is cheap then maybe you're more likely to think the same way.

It all comes down to what you prefer: A civilised society or not? There's nothing civilised about killing people, even in war. Killing within peacetime is nearly as barbaric as the killers you're punishing.

Every life has a value. When scummers like these guys kill, it's not just their victims lives they ruin---it's their own too.

I dont need it to be a deterrent..if it was my little girl kicked to death I would want revenge.I know capital punishment is not a deterrent I just believe in an eye for an eye.I would only use it for the most heinous of sadistic killings but such a person loses their right to life as far as I am concerned.

i hope that they get a 'good kicking' every day that they are in prison for what they have done

Age of Terror last week focused on the IRA atrocity on Remembrance Sunday. It included an interview with someone injured in the blast, Gordon Wilson, whose daughter didn't survive the attack. Speaking within two days of his loss, he said he didn't have any bitterness against those who took his daughter's life and in fact had prayed for them.

Do you honestly believe that executing a killer will make you feel any better, or make it easier for you to accept how a loved one died? If someone I know was murdered, I'd probably be baying for blood---but it wouldn't bring my friend/relative back.

I can only say again for me it would be about revenge and yes it would make me feel better about the loss to know that the perpitrator wasnt being kept comfy with his Sky in some soft prison counting the days until he gets out.I would want them to be scared too of their coming fate and count down their days until it all goes dark for them too...
