Me too.

Chelsea have played nobodies to get to the semi-finals, and then it was a stupid own goal that's made all the difference between the two sides.

I also think Sky has massively helped Chelsea over the last few weeks. I know AV was moaning about the Everton games switch to the Thursday, but it gave them an extra two days to prepare for the 1st Liverpool match.

They then had an extra days rest than Man Utd, before the league game between the two sides and even after this match, while Man utd have to play West Ham on Saturday, Chelsea can rest until Monday before playing Newcastle. - Now, you've just played 120 mins of tiring football in Europe and then get an extra two days rest than your league rivals, with two games left in the season......

Everybody will be supporting Manchester United no doubt apart from "The Roman Abramovich Love Children" of the forum - comrades Aceski, Mikeski & Bobski!!

Not sure how you are working that one out Sam though??
United played on Tuesday and play again on Saturday
Chelsea played on Wednesday and play again on Monday

1 day extra recuperation time in my book ...!teacher!

1 day, 3h & 15mins actually !grin!

I meant to say 2 days extra rest from their league meeting (Man Utd played Barcelona a day earlier than Chelsea played Liverpool and then the extra day Chelsea have between the Champs league and their next league match).

Man Utd only had 2 days rest (Thu & Fri) between the Barca & Chelsea games AND had the travelling to fit in, while Chelsea had 3 days rest between the Liverpool and Man Utd games.

From the Chelsea v Man Utd clash, again, Man Utd had only 2 days to prepare (Sun & Mon) while Chelsea had 3 days, again (Sun, Mon & Tue). Ok, so you'd think then that Man Utd might be able to claim back a little advantage they gave Chelsea by having a day extra coming up to the next set of league fixtures this weekend, eh? I mean, they've already played the same number of games in 48 hours less time (plus travelled to Spain & back).....but no, it's Chelsea that get another extra day!

While an advantage for the team, it's crap for the Chelsea fans, travelling up to Newcastle. They're not going to get out of the ground until nearly 6pm and then have to contend with a 5-6 hour drive -in bank holiday traffic- back down to London. They should have played on the Saturday at the same time as Man Utd (12:45). It'd be fairer on the Man Utd team AND the Chelsea fans.

Still, it's good for Murdoch & Sky!

Don't mention the dingo-shagger. Is Sky considered "nasty," by the way.

Apologies to Ace and . . . no, that's it, apologies to Ace, but I will be hoping for a Man United win in Moscow. Fifty years after Munich, it'd be a nice way for the season to end.

No room for sentiment here, if it was, Lampard would be lifting the cup after his wretched week!
I DO feel for BOTH sets of fans making that journey

Hopefully Chelsea fans will get off Avram Grant's back now.

I'd doubt that very much

The possibility still remains to come 2nd in all 3 races that they were in
0-1 down 2 to go

Shouldn't have let the final be staged in a country that still requires a tourist visa, Holding it in Moscow is a load of nonsense.

They reckon beer is ?4 a pint in central Moscow ---- but probably 10p a pint in the suburbs devoid of tourists to rip off.

Murdoch-owned. Nuff said.
