The football club has made its entire staff redundant. Talks of a takeover continuing, but it looks like the dream is well and truly over.

Hope they don't want to come back to the Unibond League. Its a hell of a midweek trek up there.

They owe about ?4m, the only asset (Raydale Park) is worth about ?800,000---short of someone paying off their debts and investing heavily, I don't see them being anywhere.

Ahhh, they got seduced by the bright lights of Kilmarnock and Montrose, when they should have stayed with Ossett Albion and Goole Town.

Good riddance is what I say they single handedly have made Scottish Football even more of a joke than it already was, the only good thing maybe to come out of it is that it WON'T happen again (probably).

I agree.. you can't sustain a team on money alone. You need a fan base, tradition and a footballing culture. Wigan take note.
