An opinion on this subject.
I think in the majority people are interested in what happens when a porn model hangs up her lingerie, not from a specific aspect but in general. Asking if she is married/still modelling/working as a secretary is only natural if someone is a fan.
On the other hand, asking for specific information is dodgy to say the least. I see nothing wrong in asking about a model if the enquiry is general and not specific.
I await a good slagging.

That,s what I,m saying, you cant go round showing your fanny to the world for a few years, and then expect to disappear, and not allow anyone to ask about you! I mean it,s like saying Mike
Tyson is he still boxing? people wouldn,t say fuck off mind your own business, he,s married whatever, these moral gaurdians
make me puke, they make a shit load of money out of the girl,s and then come over holier-than-thou. Well here,s how it is. You make porn film,s you have admirer,s a.k.a. FANS not STALKERS
and fans naturally want to know what,s happening to a actress
is she/he still working etc. You reap what you sow in this world
and you cant expect fan curiosity and admiration etc to just stop.
As a footnote,
If your the husband/partner of the star fine, have your say
if not, mind your own business.
Lizard: maybe a cuppa too much but fuck it............

The original post in this thread was unwise on the principle 'least said soonest mended' and 'when you're in a hole stop digging', but some of the responses to it have been over-reactions. Some of them have come from people who have not been visiting this forum as long as the originator of the thread. I think he was referring to a time over a year ago when there were a lot of posts begging producers to try to persuade long retired pornstars to make videos again and when there was a false rumour being propagated about the demise of Stacy Owen.
On the subject of 'where are they now' posts, it is true that most of these are innocent requests from fans as to whether a model is still modelling and, if not, whether they are happy in their new life. HOWEVER, such posts can have unintended consequences. They may be answered innocently, but in too much detail - some models may not want it to be known that they are married with kids for example. They can be answered vaguely but hinting at greater knowledge and thus elicit e-mail requests for more detailed information. In either case the answers are likely to be mis-used by stalkers or, conceivably, tabloid journalists. And in any case, how do we know that a poster is not a stalker?
Therefore, please restrict your requests for information to 'Is girl X still modelling, table-dancing etc.?' and your replies to 'Yes, she's in such and such a video' or 'Yes, she's with such and such an agency' or 'Yes, she appears at such and such a venue.' or 'No. She's retired.' More detailed replies may well be deleted, but by then the harm might be done - and it isn't just a theoretical argument I'm putting forward here. THINK BEFORE YOU POST.
