Disgustingly cynical---but that would only come as a surprise to those who equate terrorists to freedom fighters. It's a tactic that's been used in Iraq with some success, so it was inevitable someone here would try it.

Everybody equates terrorists with freedom fighters.

You may well regard the French Resistance as freedom fighters, yet others regard them as terrorists.

You may well regard ETA as terrorists, yet others regard them as freedom fighters.

It just depends upon which freedom fighters/terrorists one is talking about and whether or not one agrees with their cause.

I dont buy the whole freedom fighters argument. The moment people go for innocent people to make their point then their cause is lost to just plain murder and evil.

Muslims would have had me on some understanding about Americas foreign policy but if they're way of dealing with it is to fly a couple of plains into a couple of buildings killing thousands then all I'm thinking is that these people are beyond talking to now and should get their arses kicked...and fucking hard!!!!!

The thing I dont agree with is why our country should have been swept up to back up our big brother bully america. 7/11 ( yeah yeah I know its 7/7 but i know what I mean)

Thats my view on terrorists. How can they be fighting for freedom killing innocent people especially calling on Allahs good name.

But I digress...

This guy is just a cowardly arse hole with no cause whatsoever but to just take a load of people out with his sad arse lonly self.

There are loads of these types in the world.

If you're going to read something in what I wrote that was not there, at least have the courtesy of correctly quoting me.

Mental retard or not, he needs locking up for a very long time - as do those who groomed him.

My biggest concern is that the fucker was known by the Police to be on the fringes of a certain group.

If people had died there would be questions asked why nothing was done about him and them before it happened and I still think the question needs to be asked.

It's probably down to civil liberties Chandra Chipolata etc but had the bomb done as was intended what about the civil liberties of the victim(s).

Appreciate lots of people are on the fringes of certain groups but very few of those groups intend, want or would like to do what the extremists want to do.
