Nice to see Leeds fall at the last hurdle. Ken Bates will be livid, which is nice.

Doncaster in the Championship ..... and a flying pig just swooped past the window here!

Fantastic achievement and I hope they can manage to stay up.

Allthough i was sorry to see Leeds failing to go up The championship needs a team that can average 26,500 gates. If fact higher than most of this seasons championship sides
Congratulations to Doncaster . To think that 5 years ago they were in the conference
Also the same goes to Hull . This is the first time they have ever been in the top flight.
I wish Rochdale all the best today. A team that has never once had a promotion spending all their time in the 4th division

Division 1 is a hard league to get out of has Forest found last season but i wish Leeds and Leicester well for next season

Doncaster were the better team on the day, and throughout the season.

It would have been wrong for a team who shouldn't even be in the football league to have got promoted. Perhaps Bates will realise that rules *do* apply to him, after all.

lets see if they stay up with a gate of around 5000 or less per game if that! i mean which player in the right mind would go and play for backwater donny???

Leeds will be up next season thats for sure.

Didn't they say that after their last playoff defeat? :-)

Leeds were a big club, emphasis on the word "were". Big fan base, not a big club anymore, similar to Newcastle.

Still think they are though.

All I heard yesterday in the run-up to the game was 'sleeping giant', 'rightful place in the premiership'. If they accepted they were a badly run 3rd division club, they might start to recover.

This mornings paper coverage seemed to lean towards Leeds losing it, rather than Donny winning it, too.

Well done Donnie. As a Swansea fan (League One Champs !footie!, in case people forgot!) Deserved to go up.
