Quality human beings

Really evolved behaviour, lads, laughing at a woman being assaulted and robbed. Yes, she's an MP---and a NuLab one at that---but I'm still searching for the reason a mugging is considered funny.

What next, a chortlethon if Ann Widdecombe is raped? Uncontrollable glee as Margaret Beckett dies in a caravan fire?

Still, a foreigner like me can't begin to understand the sophisticated humour, can I.

They don't think it's funny, eh? Dibble's thread seems to contradict that.

But being a foreigner, I wouldn't understand the sense being spoken by the Dribbler and his band of merry muppets.

You really need to toughen up before you finally leave your parents' house and enter the big bad world outside.

Perhaps watching a few good horror movies might help. Please try and force yourself to watch Cannibal Holocaust, The Last House On The Left and House On The Edge Of The Park.

If you make it through those, but still feel that you might be a little too sensitive, I can recommend further titles.

Good advice on becoming an arsehole. Cheers.

Suppose I want to go the extra mile---kick the crutches away from cripples, steal the pension book of someone with Alzheimer's, that sort of thing---which films from your extensive library would you recommend?

If you think Mr Carac and his ilk are too sensitive, I'd suggest this lilly-livered society of ours isn't for you. Maybe North Korea or Somalia are more to your tastes, Steve?

I don't know how you were brought up, but laughing at middle-aged women, who've been beaten unconscious by thugs just isn't normal, now is it?

For the record, Islamic nutters use the same terminology to excuse bashing a girls head in with rocks. "She deserved it" and "life is tough" they say.

Suck on that a while.

Ah, the problem is worse than I thought.

Being completely unable to comprehend irony is often indicative of autism, which is, unfortunately, outside of my remit and best left to a dedicated health-care professional.

A clockwork orange.
