Trinny and Susannah cop out

So the much trumpeted Great British Body has taken up 3 hours of the ITV1 schedule with content which would have been stretched to fill an hour.
The repetition of the aims of the programme after every ad break, the trailing of clips from the following portion of the show before every ad break and the introduction each evening took almost the length of a programme.
Some of the people seen were inspirational but how many of the people who took part, especially in the final nude "sculptures", were truly representational of British body shapes rather than exhibitionists or people trying for 15 minutes of fame.
The show's hosts - always keen for everyone else to get their kit off and shown spending time telling everyone that they were going to join in and get naked - were particularly shy, always keeping their foil body covers tightly around them other than when they were hugging each other in the "sculptures", and Susannah, never shy about talking about nudity and keen to have some of the show's male participants' penises measured, expressed herself "shocked and embarrassed" at the number of people openly displayed their "bits".
Whilst penises were fair game for measurement, no-one thought of measuring clitorises or nipples. RGB of UK Pussy Talk lives not too far away from the site of the final show and he would, no doubt, have hired out his Vernier guage for a reasonable fee.
All in all this was yet another mainstream TV company "pushing the boundaries" without too much of a push against boundaries which have already moved as far as OFCON will allow.
