Bruce Buck was spotted at Heathrow today (Friday).

But then according to The Times the only man Chelsea really want is Scolari.

I see some newpapers today claim that Steve Clarke has been asked to continue as assistant manager.

Regarding Clarke, I believe that the board as a whole felt it was he who really held things together after Mourinho went, not Grant or ten Cate, hence asking him to stay on. That's not to say he won't leave if a managerial job comes along, and I, and I'm sure all other Chelsea fans, would wish him the very best.

As for who will be the new boss at the Bridge, depending on which paper you read, it's either Scolari or Ancelotti, with Rijkaard as back up if they can't get their preferred man.

According to the Daily Mail it's all done and dusted.

Scolari has been appointed as Chelsea manager but it won't be officially announced until after the Euros.
