What a muppet. Cost me loads at fantasy footy cos he was my captain. serves me right for picking Chelsea players I suppose.

Crazy match though and I was cheering on the Turks regardless of points!

As a Chelsea supporter I'm now seriously concerned by Cech's basic errors.

Arsenal away last season, Aston Villa at home, Liverpool in the Champions League semi that was a soft one, now this.

Never had the same confidence since the head injury I'm afraid.

What about the first Turkey goal, was Cech at fault there?

What about Woodgate's goal in the Carling Cup final?

What about the one against Bolton?

I'm not trying to knock the guy, I'm just increasingly concerned.

I had an early night when Czechs went 2-0 up and the Turk manager pushed the 4th official and I thought 'they won't come back from this'.......how wrong I was!!
Gutted I didn't stay up, but a 05.00am start is still a 05.00am start

How come the Czech's did'nt get a penalty when the Turkish goalkeeper got sent off?.I know the ball was'nt in play, but that's neither here nor there.I always believed that when an incident occurs in the penalty area,a penalty is awarded.

I'm sure that if that occured in the premiership,a penalty would of been given.

I too had Cech in my fantasy team, but hey, shit happens and he'll come good next season.

A goalkeeper is only judged on the defence he has in front of him.

I like Czech and admire his balls for coming on an interview and taking the blame fair and square. And before you guys want to hang draw and quarter him. I have always thought of Czech as a brave and great goalie.

I come from a team that had Mr Seamen make some massive cock ups, but through the years also made thousands of top saves.

Goal keepers and defenders get punished hard for a simple fuck up. But it's alright for midfield players and front men to constantly make rubbish passes, dribble the ball through one too many players and that seems forgiveable.
