Alex booted off Big Brother...

Just seen on Yahoo that she has been given the boot. She was apparently very threatening to people earlier today in the BB House and apparently threatened someone with what her 'gangster mates' would do to them outside the House.

Alex was called to the Diary Room, sat in the chair, and BB pressed the 'eject' button (think what happens when' Goose' leaves the plane in Top Gun). Alex was sent high into the stratosphere over the south of England countryside! You never know, she might land in your garden! Lol!

Is anyone going to miss her? (I think not!).

Her boyfriend IS a gangsta and is awaiting trial charged with murder ... now you gotta wonder how she managed to get in the BB House with that sort of background - looks like the production team took a chance in spicing up the action again this year and once more it has spectacularly backfired in their out of touch faces ... oh dear Endemol.

If she starts making money out of this I think I will erupt!furious!

One thing I've noticed over the years is the selection process in the last couple of seasons has been looking to create severe conflict which wasn't evident in the first couple.

Which when you think about it mirrors most sitcoms that outlive their useby date

Making money is the whole point, Crofter. These pathetic wannabes sit around and scratch their balls (where applicable), spout out their stories and philosophy on life, then come out thinking they are A-listers more worthy of attention than actors, singers and what have you.

If someone came up to you in the street and starting telling you all about themselves, giving it the big "I am," you'd tell them to piss off. And so would the majority of the nation. Put them on the goggle box and suddenly the tabloids (and by extension Joe Public) are all worried about whether Dez and Bez have fallen out; whether Shaz has been badmouthing people behind their backs; and whether Les and Tez will shag.

I don't know these people and I don't want to. Sadly, media saturation gives me little choice.

You do have choice.Dont read tabloids,Magazines or watch the show

I've managed to avoid the impulse to tune in when coming upon it while channel surfing

Just the amount of real films/tv shows from all around the world that i haven't seen means anytime wasted on that voyeuristic rubbish is time lost

Don't watch the show, Buttsie, but I have to keep an eye on the media, so it's hard to avoid most years. This time I am proud to say I don't know any of their names. Aware that one of the pathetic publicity devices used by Endemol involved putting a blind guy into the house----but that's the sum total of my knowledge.

I still say better TV by far would be locking everyone involved in reality TV--- producers, directors, participants, presenters et al---into a giant warehouse with no food and letting nature take its course. If nothing else, it would give psychologists years of material.

How's you anyway, you dingo diddler?

Give it time and you'll be able to instantly tune out wheb anything BB appears

I think you might be on a winner with the warehouse
Write a script and send it in and who knows given some of the drivel that has been made under the reality TV genre

Fine C...autums over, springs here even though its winter
Just hit the 100kg mark so maybe one too many dingo babies were consumed during my Autumn downtime...Time to start getting back into shape

Euro 2008 for the next 2 weeks followed by the Tour De Drugs in July
You got to watch something while your doing 100kms a week on an exercise bike and BB just dont cut it
