It was known a couple of Months ago that The Specials were reforming for a UK tour.
Terry Evans did a duet of 'Gangsters' with Lilly Allen last year at Glastonbury.
I doubt it'll start a revival of Ska,as the yoof of today would'nt know good music if it smacked them in the chops.

So the universal 'chav' look isn't for then? You know, dirt-cheap trackie suit covered in various unidentifiable stains, blim-burns, 'Le Coq Sportif' on the back, baseball hat at a jaunty angle on a rat-faced 'Chaver' look..
Complete with nicotine-stained fingers clutching a can of 'wife-beater' and the 'piece di resistance' haveing the bottoms of said tracksuit tucked into the socks for that extra remedial look.

I thought 'wife beater' was reassuringly expensive ? Maybe they ought to look at their brand positioning and pricing.

Ah yes, the dear old Irish National Anthem.

I loved The Specials. I saw them on Saturday Night Live in '79 or '80. Ska was something else in them days.
