Would it be possible to put some kind of icon in the subject line to let Forum readers know that there is a picture in the thread?

Don't ask me. I'm not the techie. No doubt Phil K will see this and respond. Meanwhile, I agree that it would be a good idea if those who post pics indicated this in the header.

Not easily as things stand, but I'll keep it in mind for when I (eventually) get round to improving the forum software. As Alec says, if people posting pics could indicate it in the Subject header it would be helpful ... but then again we seem to have our work cut out just trying to encourage folk to use "o/t"

Just a suggestion

Why don't you have a phrase like

'off topic discussions without o/t in the header will be deleted'
or

'Please read the FAQ section before posting'

in bold capital-black just below New Topic etc
