I'd still say it's a very entertaining show, but for me the latest 'stuntman' feature is utterly pointless - so, we'll set up a crazy stunt we haven't a cat-in-hells chance of pulling off & smash a car up evry week...
The staged 'challenges' are starting to push the envelope of relevance but its all in the name of entertainment - the stunts just seem a step too far towards parody for me.

The format is getting stale and all 3 presenters need to be got rid of.

Would any of you sit and watch a guy wanking off on his own... because that's pretty much what you're doing every time you watch Clarkson driving round the test track in a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, etc

I don't mind the format or the presenters, but it's the endless quest to do ridiculous things that will end up with the show eating itself, all in the name of 'viewing figures'

I see they've now got some poor schnook to do the "stunts". Obviously the insurance people have decided that Hammond isn't going to be allowed to drive any more rocket cars.

'Top Gear' is a million miles away from the days when it was presented by William Wollard.

I was a big fan but IMO it has now become the equivelant of Last Of The Summer Wine for motor heads.

As someone who finds cars boring and Clarkson an utter tit, I'm ashamed to say I like the show because it's so enjoyably childish.

The challenges make me smile, a fine example being the police car skit last episode. Clarkson's wheel coming off made me laugh, although it was partly in the hope that he'd do a Hammond. I hate the fact that I like it...bit like porn actually.

James May is not what he seems BTW. He's a classically-trained pianist and lives with a well-known music critic. He's not the oik that Clarkson is, or the mini-eye-candy of Hammond. I like him. He's odd.

They're all scruffs - with May the worst one. He really does need to get his hair cut. Hammond has recently been voted the 32nd 'sexiest male' in the UK. !confused!

You too can be in the sexiest poll.

All you need is loads of money paid by the BBC to read lines from a script and a camera pointing at you, no matter how you look, you'll make it on the list .

I don't see it's done Lloyd Webber any good.
