I cant see it Neo, at nightime they can get away with it, i mean how many viewers are actually up at that time, i was watching Babecast last night and the presenter Amy Capri left her mic on, i heard a good 30 min with my headphones plugged into my amp.

Surely everyone here knows that Ofcom does not allow sexual language before the watershed or the promotion of telephone services that use sexual language.

Breach of the watershed rules can lead to a channel's licence to broadcast being revoked.

The lines advertised before the watershed are 0905 and 0906 - these cannot be used for adult services.

The lines advertised after the watershed begin with 0908, 0909, or 098. These are the prefixes are adult chat lines.

Since the daytime shows used non-adult numbers, it would be a breach of the regulations to use them for adult services and a further breach of the regulations to be advertising them on daytime tv.

Of course they could still make the occasional sexually explicit remark on the daytime numbers, but make the reasonable claim that such an an occasional bit of sexual language did not make the service into an adult one.

There is an organisation known as PhonepayPlus (used to be called ICSTIS) which regulates premium telephone lines.

They monitor lines by calling them and this is usually how telephone services get caught breaking the rules.

If calling a non-adult chat number leads to sexually explicit conversation they would immediately open an investigation.
