I've recently installed this new version of Firefox. I have also downloaded/upgraded some of the free add-ons. Can anyone recommend which other add-ons I could also download? Also, am I correct in thinking that these add-ons will be totally safe from viruses etc?

Many apologies for bumping up my own thread, but I thought I'd inform you about an add-on that I've recently installed. It's called 'Interclue' and it lets you know what is behind every link.

When you place your mouse over every link a tiny icon appears in the top right-hand corner. If you then place your mouse over this icon it will inform you what is contained within the link and, more importantly, whether there are any nasties lurking there.

You can tweak 'Interclue' to your own specific levels to give you greater security and information.
