As far as I am aware Steve was fired by "Uncle" Ben Dover for carrying an unstable load. He is now driving a bus in Derby.

i was going to remove this post, having deleted a number of responses to it. this would be the easiest option in terms of moderating but i don't see why the occasional post of this nature should cause a problem to anyone.

if it does, be warned: all responses containing homophobic terms/sentiments will be removed. the posters of any such comments are also likely to have others posts of theirs deleted at random. trolling is trolling, regardless of who it is aimed at.

john: while this forum doesn't preclude appreciation of steve hooper and his male colleagues, it is called the 'british girls adult film database' for a reason. whatever members you gain from this post should be sufficient, without the need for any repeat posts.

I also found the homophobic stuff a bit annoying. Like being back at school amongst young men so unsure of their sexuality that they feel the need to prove how manly they are by being offensive. Interesting aside - I was recently in a room full of lager louts watching TV. Graham Norton came on the telly. All of us just expressed mild annoyance at Grahams rubbish format and childish antics. One guy who is 100% straight said he enjoyed Norton and nobody argued due to this bloke being six foot six and a bouncer. But the interesting bit is that the bloke we all knew from school who was very anti-gay and constantly cringing at scenes of gayness on TV got caught in a public park with another man. Whilst the rest of us who were quite happy to admit that the gay scene in Midnight Express was a well filmed and thoughtful piece depicting one human being seeking comfort in another under very adverse circumstances were mocked by this guy who later turned out gay.

My belief is that a straight man who is comfortable with his sexuality will not react childishy when gays are mentioned.
