Wimbledon men's final

I spent today watching Wimbledon and have to say that today's final was probably the best final there has been for years. I had Nadal as my pick to win and now my mum owes me ice cream!!
Big well done to Rafael Nadal. He really deserved to win and Federer used some rather dirty tactics to get back in the game. Personally I think that many aces are just unsportsmanlike and serving before the other player is ready is as well.
Very enjoyable stuff. Only a year to wait until the next Wimbledon !grin!

Yeah it was really enjoyable Harmony. Rafa deserved his win. Any chance of you in some tennis gear for the "Hex" fans out there???? Bring on the pics !!! !grin!

Your not a very tolerant person are you Alice? do you kick dogs thats bark at you.
The All England club as you put it, has not been represented by an Englishman for a long long time, and probably never will be.
You see the above. (your description,) I see a talented young Spaniard, that was the best player on the day who's emotions overwhemed him and celebrated, the fact that he doesn't speak great English is irrelevant, what did you expect him to do, put on a tuxedo for the cup presentation?

An epic match which was great, i thought federer was gonna win when he levelled it up 2 sets each but nadal was just the better player on the day. Get your money on Federer to win the US Open on August 25th hes defending Champion there and Nadal has a crap record there just as he does at the Australian Open.

A nice twist to their rivalry especially after beating federer in the french.Head to head Nadal now leads Federer 12-6
I think if Nadal learns when to come into the net he'll be almost unbeatable
at Wimbledon

An amazing final,very much close to Borg v McEnroe in 1980.The best man won,though credit to Federer for a great comeback,Enjoy your ice cream Ms Hex,i'll be enjoying the money i won,as i backed Nadal to win it at the start of the tournament !happy!
Salute to the new World No1,and at 22,he will be for many years to come.
