Safer Streets: we will make our streets and public spaces feel safe and be safe. This will involve tackling gun crime, business crime, street crime, anti-social behaviour, violent crime, vehicle crime and acquisitive crime.

Leyton:

This is a nice little presentation:

Short of getting people to the jobs they are being paid to do and turn their words into actions I've no idea what else can be done !annoyed!

And a shooting within a few yards of my studio today.

Its funny how accustomed you become to these things. As I was driving home, I heard on the travel news "Spital Hill closed due to a police incident". My first reaction was, "that'll be another shooting then". Sure enough, first details say there's been a gun murder, and I know exactly where it will have happened without even having to listen to any more.

Just de-sensitised to it now, I guess.

As long as it's gang members killing other gang members I'm not too bothered - they're doing us a favour.
