I have got it completely fucking wrong again. For years I was labouring under the misapprehension that you went into hospital to have a successful operation without catching, MRSA, C.Diff, Aids, Clap, Ricketts etc, and it was a Doctors pledge to see this happened without being paid a bonus for it on top of earning a good salary....what a fool I have been.

Since the new contracts were introduced for doctors, GPs and hospital, the salaries have nearly doubled with their hours reducing by a fifth !

Typical of this government that they didn't think twice about wasting the tax payers money......even the doctors were amazed at what they got !

For my 2 pence worth, the NHS should be just a first class emergency service, clean, efficient and for ALL people, but any other treatment should be paid for at the point of treatment......

The govenment never answers the question why, if the NHS is so bloody good why no other country in the world has ever got near to copying it !!!

The NHS will completely bankrupt the British tax payer in the next 20 years!

it's easy to say all other treatments shpuld be paid for except emergency, but that's not much good if you suffer from a chronic illness and struggle for money, this is what happens in the States. I know of people who have a choice of buying food or medicine, that's not a system I would want here
