Indeed- what has Brown done to deserve the ned that way?

Solvent economy

Brown should be grateful of anyone sticking to him at present.

Don't you find it a little bit uncomfortable, calling someone arrogant and bullying, criticising them for personal attacks, and then becoming involved in personal attacks and bitching at every opportunity?

And all against someone who's barred from defending himself?

I think what Liz and I do is part of the rough and tumble of taking it and giving it, Sam.

But thanks for allowing me to remind newbies about what really made the ned an target for me and many others.

He shares many of my politics- though I could never get in any form of tiz over Dibbs, Dave Wells etc. Not worth it- and why should I?

But where he differs is his holier than thou, I know better than you sanctimonious bullshine.

I hope you haven't forgotten how he basically told working-class me that middle-class him was better qualified to talk for the 'poor' than I was. And then laid out the caustic putdowns if I dared to disagree- because little old me should know my place with big old him.

He came across as a fusion of a 1980s New Statesman article, a 14 yo whose girlfriend has left him for a prop forward and an Oxford don who has found a student willing to think and not swill sherry and behave like a Pavlovian dog in front of him.

So- guess what, Sam? That kind of cuntery doesn't work for me then, now or in the future.

Still angry with the ned, Sam? Yes I am- always fucking angry with the ned, Sam.

Come back from nedland ,Sam. You are too good for those dark places.

What can I say, colonel? Maybe Wazza was wrong in the thread you allude to -I didn't see it, or can't remember- but if his demeanour didn't agree with you then that's no reason to think him any worse than Alice, Mike or Dibble; it just makes him different.

If you're still angry about a bloke on an internet forum, after nearly 6 months, then -and I mean this with respect, not sarcasm- you have the problem. Me & Magoo ripped into eachother much more than you & Wazza have done but 3 months on we put our differences aside, apologised, and even mailing eachother these days.

We all wind eachother up on here at times.

What can I say, I saw the title of the thread and was expecting to be greeted by the face of Schools Minister Ed Balls.

Shows how much I know!
