I was going to boycott it because the Chinese have shown al too clearly they have said things which clearly they were never going to undertake
to get the games
Expect i'll tune in if only to see a few pet events
Basketball,Hockey,Football & the Marathon
I really couldn't careless about the medal tally and who wins gold.
Its the same rich nations that feature every time

It looks like its going to be one big wank fantasy for the Chinese Government to show how 'modern' they are and how "Everybody in China very happy. No one complain."
When I was there a few years ago, I couldn't even get the Aussie internet news sites or even the BBC to see what was happening in the rest of the world. I hear that the list of things you cant do at this Olympics is quite ridiculous. I think this Olympics will be noted for being the best organised but the most soul-less and sterile yet.
I also hope that when London stages it, it brings it back to being a lively affair with the English flare for madness and fun.

Yes Wanking is in China Steve ... but unfortunately it is not YET an olympic sport - pity that as I think that Britain would actually do pretty well if it was.
