I get the impression Europe likes Obama----they want a US president that might listen to people and work in partnership with them, rather than pretend to be a wild west sheriff.

If Europe had a say in the Presidency,Obama would already have the keys to the White House.

"Obama is slick, charismatic & is a great talker" - just a pity he has no substance, he's all froth and candy floss..

I don't think many people here were that bothered he was here, to be honest. The Germans go for that sort of thing, "Ich bin ein Berliner' and stuff!

Trouble is if Europeans like a candidate, back in the US he's seen as too left-wing - which is actually bad for his ratings. Granted, he's not got much competition from the dork, McCain, who looks like he should be home with a mug of cocoa and a rug on his knee by 6pm.
