Has there ever been a more annoying chant?
I was watching the Archery this morning and a Brit was against an American. Normally, a sedate sport, but NOOOOOOOOOO! a small handful of the Americans supporters were making as much noise with that horrid U-S-A!!, U-S-A!!! chant! Grrrrrrrr!!!!
I can understand it if it was a basketball game or some athletics meeting, but Archery?
For fucks sake!!

I had the misfortune to see the medal ceremony for one of Mr Phelp's events. He and a fellow septic side by side, hands on heart while the anthem plays.

I know where you are from is an accident of birth, but I do love my country. Just don't see the need to display it to the world.

Anyone remember Daley Thompson whistling some other tune all the way through God Save The Queen? Now that was class.

Yes, its up there with the chavtastic, and frankly very annoying 'Great Escape' tune that gets incessantly played at England's footy games.

In ref to the Welsh (esp the Vowels remark), 7 Actually (well, there is alot more than 7, but the rules are complicated).

Depends if your talking about Welsh Rugby or Wales as a Nation.
