This forum doesn't exist for the purposes of allowing you to communicate with ex-members from here or with members of other forums.

This is getting crazy, you guys are happy (it seems) to leave up some posts that pretty much step over the line of the majority of laws in the western world yet come down harshly on somebody trying to communicate with ex-members of this forum ... not sure what your prime objective is??

Where in the FAQ's does it say that is against the forum rules then??

Mr. Admin Sir,

I appreciate that you make the rules. Indeed, I am grateful for the strong moderation both in the recent past and, no doubt, in the future.

In the past, criticisms of people and their posts have been made by ex-members on other forum(s). They have come on here, read what we have said, and then replied back on other forum(s) giving us no redress or right to reply.

How, in your opinion, can we deal with that? Alice has tried to reply to them on here. Isn't it the case that the only other way is to ban certain ex-members who have slagged off BGAFD elsewhere from posting on here? Is that the route you really want to go down?

I await your reply with interest, Sir.

Why has my post been edited? I mentioned forum[s] and I mentioned that we need a right of reply or redress to what has been said about us from elsewhere.

What answer to this is there?

If people on said other forum are criticising either you or your posts you need to take that up with that forum's owner and moderators. Quite frankly, what goes on there is up to them. With the exception of anyone making libellous comments against the owners and moderators of this site, we're no longer particularly interested in anything they say or do there.

A good point to make, Sir.

I think the best thing we can do now is to let them be. Will you be checking to see if libellous remarks are made about this site or its members elsewhere?
