Maybe he thought he was an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, taking his goods and chattels with him to serve him in the after-life.

Material possessions notwithstanding, what, apart from social status, was he actually set to lose?
Nice of him to decide his family couldn't handle the supposed shame of it either.

I only hope his victims weren't too aware of his foul deeds before they were shot.Pure evil.Le those that thought he was a good guy hold their heads in shame..whatever good he did in life is erased by his last minutes.
