I Met A Man Who....along with the Pythons' doing Mr.Creosote, it's as good as comedy gets. Pure magic.

I am old enough to have watched the "Not Only But Also" TV shows with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore all those years ago when they were first on.

I loved their humour, and they sparked each other off so well.

Peter Cook had a GREAT way with words and could often say JUST the right word for great comic effect.

I know they both had their problems in life, but it just makes me so sad that neither of them are around any more.

Such a sad loss.

Extract from Peter's "Miners" monologue

I much preferred Pete & Dud the clean tapes to Derek & Clive which was nothing but profanity for shock value...so shocking I bought 2 albums & a tape

best part of those derek & clive albums were the writeups on the sleeves..priceless

Not Only But Also - Bo Dudley

Behind the Fridge - Pete and Dud
