Is the Jersey government involved in a cover-up to protect the tourist trade there?

Over ?1 million spent on excavation. How surprising would it be if the main contractor was related to a) a Police officer or b) government officer ?

I always though these claims of murder and torture were complete bollocks. Stories get hyped out of all proportion and in the end even the police believe their own bollocks. It's like the Satanic Ritual Abuse that was supposedly going on in every corner of the country, back in the 80's, when they were taking children into care left, right and centre --- but it transpired it was a just a cock and bull story.
