You do realise BETA means its still in the testing phase so there will be more & more faults ironed out of the browser?

If you ever use Beta your a guinea pig/lab rat

You'll find shed loads of discgruntled testres below

Whats the solution...dont use it

Thanks Deuce,
Thanks for educating me because I did not know what Beta meant.
Mike Freeman.
PS. A drop down menu says "manage your add-ons" but I could not get it to work.

Use Firefox.... once tried, you'll never go back to IE, and you can get lots of useful addons for it.

There is one major drawback with Firefox for me. I have the font on the PC set to 120dpi, instead of the normal 96dpi - because without that the fonts are too small to read comfortably. IE7 and other windows products seem to manage this ok - but under Firefox the web pages only fill the middle portion of the screen. You have the option to zoom and this makes things ok'ish - but pages don't quite look right. Every time a new browser is opened it just goes back to the standard size and the font needs to be increased again, it doesn't remember what it was set at last time.

Jonny, that is probably the only irritating thing about Firefox. I guess the only other solution would be to open up display properties and either decrease your screen res (settings tab), or change the default font size (appearance tab).

Probably always will...the compatability issues between any browser and the thousands(17,000+ i've read)of add-ons out there is always going to be an issue

I had the same dramas with firefox when it first came out in not recognising

Firefox & Safari are better options than IE(any version)

if you want to try new browsers or any software for that matter a visit to a site like this is always wise...you've got the review...the comparison between whats available...the feedback from the users

Of course which operating system your using is important as well
Vista still has issues with incompatible third party software
