Very good.........

I remember ladybird books....the pictures were always excellent......it seems just like yesterday......oh to be young again....but in the late 60's......football on the park, fishing, playing "war" and generally enjoying life....

" I could go on for hours and I probably will !"

!sad!

>football on the park

jumpers for goalposts, sherbert dabs, the flowerpot men, jubblies, juke box jury, the clitheroe kid, conkers, "god save the queen" played at the end of a film.......

life was so simple then.

There's a page missing: the 'tazering the black suspect
with one hand, while accepting a bribe with the other'.

....The Navy Lark (left hand down a bit), Round the horn, Housewives choice, and Saturday club with Brian Matthew. You could buy more sweets than you could carry with half a crown, Playing 'kingy' with some rolled up socks.
Fish and chips wrapped in newspaper, Rag, Tag and Bobtail, The Woodentops,
Lesley Crowther annoying kids in hospital on Christmas morning TV, A world where mostly everything you saw was made in England, Steam trains, pressing button B in phone boxes to get some free coppers.

The TV may have been black and white but my God we had some colour in our lives back then.
