It'll go up again soon, seeing the ? fell by 5c today, on 'fears' we'll cut interest rates on Thursday.

No matter what happens in the world economy, one thing is certain - the ? always falls. I think there is a secret plan to let the ? fall to the level of the ?, then we'll join, having all been robbed of 30% of our purchasing value in a few months.

I wish I'd opened a $ or ? account six months ago, and put all my money there at the rates of $1.90 or ?1.40.

If you want the ? sign just press and hold down AltGr (right of space) and then press the 4 key.

I am in favour of joining the Euro.....the sooner the better !

Also the 2p tax rise yesterday will be added again next april......all i was trying to say was that other countries look after their people ! If the supermarkets don't pass the tax on thats their problem, but we should not forget that every 2p extra does hit people in their pockets, nurses, teachers, nurses, hard working families, nurses, etc etc ( god i sound like a labour MP) when theres really no need to put it up at the moment:! ( don't forget that when the price of oil shoots up, and it will one day, the government will never reduce their tax take, so we will end up paying even more tax per litre)
