Women who enjoy exclusively male company...

I find this quite interesting. Does anyone know the psychology of this? To be the only female member of a successful band, and not only the band be all male but the manager, crew, promoters and roadies at gigs, etc, all be male too, would mean she would spend most of her time in totally male company. Most people approaching her for autographs will be male too. These women relish this and seem to like to be 'one of the guys'.
I can think of some female pornstars who seem to be like that too - photographed with a room full of people, and she be the only girl, her meeting almost exclusively men, and liking that. What is going on here? Is it that some women really dislike other women and therefore there is no one left to associate with but men? Or is it, and I suspect this is most likely, a major ego rush for her - being surrounded by males and her being the centre of attention - gives her an ego rush and a certain feeling of power? That centre-of-attention, standing out, having adulation, and a certain degree of possibly being desired by all the men around her, is something that she really loves?
What do people think? I find this quite fascinating.
