MFI & Woolworths

Tat with a capital T.

MFI do not deserve to still be trading due to the appalling quality of their goods - unbelievably bad compared to the likes of Ikea - the only people shedding tears over their demise will be the unfortunate employees.
Woolworths couldn't change - 25 years of the rise of massive supermarkets selling cd's, videos, posters, toys, confectionary & cheap clothes is what did for them - all the wallers buy their tat from Asda when they go food shopping, therefore poor old Woolies are obsolete

Should have both gone under 10 years ago. There were no justifications for saving these two companies time-and-time again ---- apart from the greedy bastard managers used the stores to milk themselves large salaries and bonuses, while paying the staff minimum wage. Good riddance, nice to see the back of rubbish retailing. About 300 of the stores are going to be picked up by kings of shite, Poundland - and money grabbing Sainsbury, Tesco and Waitrose - the rest will most likely become charity shops and Wetherspoons.

Trouble with the British high street is every fucking town is the same - and what's the point of these Retail Parks - there are 4 or 5 within 10 miles of here ---- everyone has a selection from Comet, Home Bargains, Halfords, KFC, TK Maxx, Currys, McDonalds, Sainsbury, PC World, B&Q or Homebase, Pets at Home, JD Sports (or whatever it's called). When you've been to one there's no point going to another, because they all sell the same rubbish. No wonder prices are so high in the UK, it's to pay for these rip-off artists to build the same bunch of shops every 6 miles or so!
