I know you should really give things a chance and not slag 'em off before you've even seem 'em.

But I'm going to stick my neck out on this one, and confidently predict that that it'll be (a) a load of complete and utter crap (b) poorly reveived and (c) won't be renewed beyond its initial run of episodes.

I read elsewhere on the net that George Cole and Dennis Waterman aren't happy about it and refuse to endorse it, and turned down C5's request to help plug it.

The original was a classic. This, I suspect, will be bollocks.

I agree. Although not doubt I'll be tunning in to see Shane. Loved him in Eastenders.

New Minder. Why? Well I suppose it saves them getting someone with creative talent to come up with something new.

The old Minder was hugely overrated,was ok when it started but turned into an unfunny ""comedy"". Who the fck would be scared of terry mccann anyway,bloody shortarse.

I heard it was meant to be about Arthur Daley as a young Spiv or some such.Don't know if thats true or not.If it is so,all you need to look at is Cole as Flash Harry in the original St Trinians films.That was the fledgeling Daley without a doubt.
