Setting out one's stall

A look at my postings over the years, if you could be arsed, would indicate that I'm generally of the left, liberal with a small L, un-xenophobic, non-sexist, anti-racist, pro-European, and a fan, and occasional shooter, of porn, or I wouldn't be here. What I would like to know is, does a liking for such material tend to make one more or less likely to become reactionary? It sometimes seems that the only thing I have in common with many of the folk on here is a penchant for naked females.

That's me too-only I wished I shot some porn some decade!
I don't think everyone on here is 'reactionary'- Von Boy and JonnyHungwell are, but that is open in both their cases and you know what to expect. So no problem.
I think this place just mirrors the 'real world'. Yes, the English are very right wing- conservatives with big or small Cs. Yes, the Celts are passionate and fiery- radicals or liberals with big or small Rs or Ls. Everyone protects their own- everyone parties too much- everyone breaks hearts they should have kept close and kept close people they should have told to piss off...
It's the human condition. Simple as.

Thanks for that. Its just that on here and VEF as well , one tends to get a reactionary posting/reply more often than not. It cant just be a simple Politics thing. The Right is as down on porn as the Left. My paper of choice, the Guardian, has a number of writers who would condem my proclivities as much as the paper I wouldn't even line the cat's (had I one) tray with, the Mail.

Left and Right have people who see this as exploitation and those who see it as total freedom. I see it as the latter- for example, Rupert Murdoch must have indirectly bought 200+ women sports cars, villas and big country houses since 1969. Who is being exploited there? And anyone who exploits Murdoch is a hero in my book.
