I was wondering what happens when you dont vote.
Is it harder to get loans, bank accounts, mortgages, mobile phones etc etc....

would I then fall off the register thus not getting any sales phone calls etc etc

There is a difference between not voting, and not being on the electoral register. The latter could mean difficulties in getting credit and such. As yet the government has not made voting compulsory.

As long as you are on the electoral register no problem. Credit scoring includes time at current address, number of applications for credit, repayment history etc.
