Just so you know, provisions in section 76 of the 2008 Anti-terrorism Act (yes, yet another one) will make it illegal from monday to photograph a copper, and refusal to delete or hand over any pictures of said defenders of our liberty, when ordered to, will be an arrestable offence (but then EVERY offence is now arrestable thanks to T Blair's years in charge).

On duty, on the street, badly parked, abusing their authority, whatever.

So we can tear down the CCTV cameras then? Oh wait, that'll be different. At least no more Road Wars type programmes. Oh wait, police propaganda films will be allowed.

It'll only be an act of terrorism when you photograph them parking on double yellows outside the chippy, or any of the other illegal activities they do and want to cover up.

ITV and the BBC won't be pleased. What will they find to entertains us with now that they can't simply put a camera crew on a fat, baldy in a flouresent jacket and film him moving Geordies on at closing time.

I think it will only be negative coverage that will be labelled terrorism. Positive coverage and government paid for propaganda (PCSO: Life on the Street) will manage to slip through.

And I hope the press get their act together and refuse to cover 'good news' stories issued by the police press office, 'policeman saves drowning dog', long service medal awards,etc.
